Are You Experiencing the Freedom to Be Who God Made You to Be?

Human beings need freedom to flourish.

We need an environment that provides us the freedom to pursue our callings, thrive in our work, and that reflects the inherent dignity of every person.

Making the case for a three-point framework of freedom, fulfillment, and flourishing, Anne Bradley writes,

We need to live in an environment that elevates our God-given creativity and supports our ability to flourish.

Religious, political, and economic freedom are all elements of this environment.

There is another important freedom that’s essential to flourishing: freedom in Christ. This includes freedom from the bondage of sin and death, but it also consists of being free to be who God made us to be.

As we put it in one of our latest videos, “Freedom”:

God made every person unique, and we have the freedom to be who he created us to be, and to work doing what he created us to do…. It’s only when we do what he created us for that we fully know freedom.

And, as the video makes clear, this freedom isn’t for ourselves. It allows us to serve others with the gifts and talents God has bestowed upon us.

So, are you experiencing the freedom to be who God has created you to be?

That’s the question “Freedom” explores. We want people to understand that their work matters to God, and they have this freedom.

We hope you find this message encouraging. If you do, share it with a friend!
